“they fear us”, by liliana felipe
they fear us because we have no fear
this is my word of strength for everyone who is under the suppression of their human rights. this is my vote for a better word. through liliana’s voice I’d like to remember to everyone and myself the danger of censorship and alienation.
namely, today I raise up my voice against the oppressors at libya; against the block of BART at the bay area; against the lack of information available in media about japan radiative disaster; against the information blocks at china; against the corruption in brazil’s government; against the reactions against same-sex marriage in america as a whole; against the haiti not-paid capital support…
well, add your word of protest.
they fear us because we have no fear. we cannot be afraid of who tries to silence us. our voice must be heard!
